Rotterdam offers a wide range of hotels, varying from basic to luxurious. This tourist-friendly city has the right room for everyone who wants to stay over in the city, whether it is for business, for pleasure or... for an international congress.
The Netherlands Flag Congress 2013 organization made special arrangements with the NH Atlanta Rotterdam Hotel which is located in the vibrant heart of the city at 10 minutes from the congress venue, Engels Congress Center. The hotel is walking distance from the Central Train Station (1 km.), above a Metro/Underground public transport station and it has an adjacent parking garage. It provides unrivalled access to Rotterdam’s extensive shopping and restaurants area as well as to the business and leisure district.
The preferred NH Atlanta Rotterdam Hotel belongs to one of the biggest hotel chains in the world. The 215 rooms, including a wide range of standard, deluxe and executive rooms, have recently been totally renovated. The imposing lounge still radiates Art Deco energy, reminiscent of the hotel’s grand opening in 1930. All rooms have a mini-bar, coffee and tea making facilities, wireless Internet (paid service), air conditioning, toiletry kit, hair dryer, room service and in-room safe. Non-smoking rooms, rooms for physically disabled, buffet breakfast and room service are available. There are smaller and larger rooms, so participants can share rooms and reduce their costs. Of course participants are free to stay elsewhere, but most will likely stay at these hotels in order to “meet and greet”.
